Poetry

A Victorian poet in the family

Frances Wynne, sister to May Wynne of Glendalough, and so Graham Wynne's grandaunt, merits a mention in an internet survey of Irish authors, and was the subject of an interview in a publication called 'The Lady of the House,' in the year of her early death.

Read the interview and three of Frances' poems here.

A new translation of the Latin poem Mosella by Ausonius, made by David Parsons, is on his web site here.

Verses by Mrs Alexander
